A Message from Our New Executive Director
It is an honor to begin my tenure as the Executive Director of this remarkable organization. South Bend Symphony has a long-standing tradition of artistic excellence and I look forward to working with Maestro Tsung Yeh during his final season in leading this orchestra. Tsung Yeh has become the face of the SBSO and played a crucial role in shaping the organization’s artistic vision. Under his leadership, this orchestra has become one of the best regional ensembles with a growing reputation.
It is my hope that his legacy will continue for many years to come, including through his participation on an international search committee for our next Music Director.
The mission of the SBSO is to engage our community in the exploration of orchestral music. Rest assured, through this year of transition, we will continue to present exciting performances and remain committed to connecting to audiences—both in the concert hall and out in the community—through our music education programs and expanding our footprint in the region.
I look forward meeting you at a performance, in the community or as you volunteer with us as we continue to become “South Bend’s” Symphony.
