Symphony To Go!

Each year the South Bend Symphony sends its musicians out to visit schools, libraries, retirement homes, and other venues to share their experience and connect people with classical music. Through entertaining age-specific

programs the South Bend Symphony's String Quintet, Woodwind Quintet, and Brass Trio perform for and talk with students and music lovers about a variety of musical subjects. The Symphony Ensembles provide a chance for your students to experience live professional music and converse with professional musicians. Each ensemble offers a selection of programs sure to delight all ages. 

These ensembles are available to you at low cost , thanks in part to generous underwriting by the South Bend Symphony Orchestra endowment funds along with many corporate and private donors. 

These wonderful ensembles are available for only twenty-five (25) performances each. Don't miss your chance for your students to hear them! Be sure to check out the new program offerings. The available dates for each ensemble are listed below.

- Band and Orchestras can benefit from having our ensembles  lead coaching sessions. Students will feel the excitement  of working with professional performers and will can

  special insights into the music they are preparing.

- Masterclasses available.

   Members of the quintets work with students in small

  groups to cover instrument specific topics, to improve

  technique, and to help prepare for upcoming contests.

-The cost to you is only $75 per block, thanks in part to generous underwriting by the South Bend Symphony Orchestra

  endowment funds along with many corporate and

  private donors.

-You may schedule two programs in a two and half hour block. This creates flexibility in scheduling. More of your students can benefit from these experiences.

-Each ensemble program lasts approximately 45 minutes. Available Dates and Cost
